Vandaag bezoeken we: Magnum Party

You probably haven't missed it: the annual Magnum party was everywhere on social media. FOMO guaranteed if you weren't there, because all those videos looked absolutely amazing. But you might be wondering: was it really that good? Is that FOMO justified?

Well, I was there and I can tell you: yes. That FOMO is a hundred percent justified, because it was really amazing again. The Magnum parties have become a concept, but this year they decided to do it a bit differently; not like previous years in a hotel, but at The Unbound in Amsterdam. Super fun little houses (and even tipis) where everyone slept and where Magnum provided the ultimate festival vibe.

The day started with a sound healing session, which is often a bit too airy for my sober self, but it was a very relaxing way to ease in. And that was a good thing, because afterwards it really kicked off at the main stage that Magnum had set up on the grounds.

But it wouldn't be a Magnum party if there wasn't an after (or three), so after the closing ceremony (where a large wooden Magnum ice cream was set on fire à la Burning Man) it was far from over. And the next morning was — completely understandable — hellish. Luckily, the freezer was full of the new Magnum ice creams (Sunlover, with white chocolate, and Starchaser, with milk chocolate) and I found out that they really help against the hangover.

Magnum, thanks for another amazing evening — you manage to make it more legendary every year.
