Another day, another nail trend. And you probably haven't missed this one if you don't live under a rock. Sofia Richie, Dua Lipa, and Zendaya have already been spotted with it: the blueberry milk nails. How it started earlier this year with milky white as the trendy nail color, it was just a matter of time before we would switch to light blue this summer. Ms. Bieber's glazed donut nails are now officially old news. Finally, I hear you thinking.
And recreating it is very easy. All you need for this manicure is a milky-colored and a baby blue nail polish. You start with the cream white layer, and once that has dried, you apply another layer of the blue color on top. The milky base gives you that blueberry milk effect and looks very subtle. No bright blue shades, no nothing. Then you probably won't get tired of them within two weeks.
Fun fact: on TikTok, there is even a theory that men can tell if you're taken by looking at light blue nails. For fun, ask your boyfriend/husband what color you should paint your nails; there's a good chance he'll suggest light blue. But if you're going into summer just like me, completely single, then you might as well choose white. White is an indirect hint that someone is single. There, now you know that too.
