According to research, a third of men fake their orgasm

By

‘You can fake it? Unbelievable, the ONE thing that’s ours!’ I hear Monica in Friends still screaming at Chandler when he says he faked his orgasm when they had sex. And honestly: I thought the same at first. How can men fake this? Don’t their sexual partners notice?! I mean: a man's orgasm is accompanied by a souvenir? Of course, there are exceptions like a dry orgasm, but faking? How then?

Yet it can happen and according to Durex, it happens quite regularly; they conducted a study and it turned out that 32 percent have faked an orgasm at some point, compared to 43 percent of women. So it definitely occurs more often in women, but men are also not averse to a strong performance between the sheets.

But still: where does that ejaculation go then?! Durex expert Alix Fox says: ‘Several men have told me that they sometimes subtly spit in their hands and then smear that spit over the sheets or their partner in the hope that their partner would see it as an orgasm. Or they use a shirt to wipe away their imaginary sperm.’ The sneaks.

But don’t worry, because according to Fox, faking doesn’t really mean that the man doesn’t find his sexual partner good in bed or that he doesn’t find the other attractive; the absence of orgasms can have many different causes, just like with women.

His ultimate tip is to make the faking of orgasms a topic of discussion: communication is key, even when it comes to climaxing. This way, the man doesn’t have to sneakily spit in his hands during sex, which is also quite nice.
