Cozy cardio is the workout trend for fall

Hot girl summer is almost over and I personally can't wait for the cozy autumn. Call me crazy, but the thought of curling up on the couch with a cup of tea and a blanket while it rains outside makes me so happy. It has always been my favorite season and I prefer to carry all those cozy vibes into everything I do. You understand that I am extremely happy with the news that cozy cardio is going to be the new sports trend of the autumn. And if even an unathletic egg like me gets excited about this, then you know you will like it too.
Cozy cardio
Hope Zuckerbrow, founder of ‘The Cozy Cardio Club’, says that cozy cardio is a relaxed way to get your body moving, prioritizing exercises that feel less like a workout and more like a fun activity. So for example, doing cardio in your favorite cozy outfits while watching your favorite shows and sipping your favorite drinks. She does this herself by walking on her treadmill in her pajamas at a comfortable pace while watching something fun, and then varies the intensity during the 40-minute session before finishing with a 10-minute cooldown. She wants to get rid of the idea that only sessions of at least an hour of hard sweating count and wants to make moving fun again.
Here's how to try it yourself
The goal of cozy cardio is to get your heart rate up in a nice environment where you feel at home. If you have a treadmill at home, you can use that. If not, you can start with yoga, bodyweight exercises, or jumping rope. Whatever you do, the idea is to create a relaxing environment that feels pleasant, unlike the harsh lighting and intense music you might encounter in a gym (which I personally also find sensory hell). So dim those lights and surround yourself with everything that makes you happy. This could be turning on your favorite series or podcast, but you can also create a relaxing vibe by lighting a nice scented candle. Keep yourself hydrated with your favorite (note: non-alcoholic) drink and you’re good to go!
