Rebel Moon with Michael Huisman on Netflix

‘Our pride, Michiel Huisman, is still doing great. The Haunting of Hill House was of course amazing, he had Blake Lively opposite him in The Age of Adeline, but lately it has been a bit quiet around him. There's a good chance that's because he has been extremely busy with Rebel Moon, the new Netflix movie in which he plays a leading role. Yep, soon we can enjoy Michiel Huisman on our screens again.

Well, soon… this film will only be online on December 22, so we have to wait a bit longer. I think that wait will be worth it, as it promises to be a spectacular film.

You have to like it; it’s going to be a bit of a Star Wars-like film. Science fiction, that is. Zack Snyder is the director, whom you may know from Army of the Dead, and Charlie Hunnam and Anthony Hopkins are also in it. Not the least of names.

Okay, then the story: an invasion is looming. Kora (Sofia Boutella) wants to protect her colony and therefore goes in search of people who can help her. She seeks that help spread across the entire Milky Way. Really a kind of Star Wars, and I hope for just as many special effects. And preferably a Yoda as well.

The trailer is still taking its time, but the first images are already there. Looks good, right?
