The only form of real cooling that works these past few days is jumping into the water. Whether it's a jacuzzi (inflatable for example), a swimming pool (they set one up at my tennis club and I'm really grateful for that), or just in natural water; we prefer to hang out in the water all day.

That's of course nice and cooling, but also not doable. Unless you have a nice air mattress, but I can never really relax on that. I feel like with every millimeter I move, I do a weird backflip and go underwater again. Eventually, I end up lying there really relaxed, because I just try to stay as stiff as a board so I stay steady. Not handy.

I once swam in the Blue Lagoon in Iceland and booked a massage there — in the water. It was the most insane (and also most expensive) massage ever, and that was also because you lay in a sort of hammock in the water. It felt so wonderful, so you understand that when I saw this at Action, I immediately went to get one.

Because yes, they are now selling water hammocks at Action and they really cost nothing. Almost literally by the way, they are €2.99 each. Really a thief of your wallet if you don't get this at home, because believe me: this feels so nice in the water. I can't wait to dive in again and enjoy the sun on this. SO EXCITED.
