Break-ups are often tough, even when you part as friends. Unfortunately, that hasn't been the case for me, so this is definitely something I can give him for his birthday. Because I find this really hilarious: in Canada, you can name a cockroach after your ex for about 17 euros (25 dollars) until Valentine's Day. ‘Roses are red, violets are blue… Is there someone in your life that’s bugging you? Give them goosebumps by naming a cockroach in their honour this Valentine’s Day.’

BRILLIANT. I would prefer not to spend another cent on my ex, but this is still a bit for a good cause. And it's just really funny. It's an initiative from the Toronto Zoo and good news: the cockroaches are far from sold out.

Not everyone finds it equally hilarious, by the way: on Twitter, there is often criticism that this is bullying, and therefore not okay. I would like to talk to those people if they have also been lied to by their ex for four years, to see if they might think differently about it. Am I bitter? Absolutely not, but actions like this make me chuckle intensely. Bet that Miley Cyrus, given her new hit Flowers, has named one after Liam Hemsworth too?
