Here I am certainly not the only one: I always find it so difficult to buy good gifts for the holidays. We celebrate Christmas every year with gifts, and like many others, we play the dice game: everyone buys a number of gifts, which go on a table, and by rolling dice, you can snag gifts. Everyone gets a budget per person, and you buy something with that.

And not to be arrogant, but I have been the absolute best at this for years; my gifts are always the most loved, with last year being the highlight. My tactic? Buying quality items that people actually need. Sounds very logical, but try telling that to the people who continuously buy cheap games or other trinkets that break in no time.

Last year, and again this year, my secret weapon is the following: what is everyone happy with, what is super handy and super tasty? Exactly: coffee. And so last year there was a fight over the Nespresso pods that I had bought as a gift for the dice table.

This year they are going for it again, with my favorite Caramello and the new flavor Nocciola. These are now standard in my assortment and I always receive many compliments about both. Really delicious flavors that will make any coffee lover happy, and I also have just the gifts to complete this.

I prefer to stick to one theme, so for the ‘larger’ gifts I found something that fits perfectly: the Aeroccino 4, also from Nespresso. Known at my home as a milk frother 4.0, because it can froth milk in four ways. Honestly so handy because everyone has a different preference when it comes to cappuccino, latte, or macchiato.

If you are also a coffee lover, then you will be just as happy with this as I am. I have nothing against winter, but I genuinely enjoy these kinds of delicious winter coffee flavors, and with a brand like Nespresso, I know the taste is good. Additionally, I always find their styling so on point — yes, the eye wants something too — and so this year I also arranged some gifts for myself.

One that I (I think) really needed and one that I just find too beautiful to pass up. The Nomad Travel Mug I seriously need, because I spend a lot of time in the car and I didn’t have a nice mug that keeps coffee warm. So I couldn’t let this one go.

Then in the category ‘not necessary, but I had to have it’ the new Vertuo Pop; my Nespresso at home is retiring after years of loyal service and this will be the worthy replacement that will assist me on all my work-from-home days. You understand that I also immediately purchased that frother for myself.
