Yes: the Bridgerton spin-off is coming

Mark May 4 in your calendar, because then our Bridgerton hearts can go wild again. The spin-off, which we have known for a while was coming, will be online: Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story. The teaser was dropped yesterday and it looks amazing again. Completely in the Bridgerton atmosphere, but that's not very surprising since Shonda Rhimes is at the helm again.

The series will — not surprisingly — revolve around Queen Charlotte and how she became the woman she ultimately is. We will follow her marriage to King George (which seems to be an intense love story) and her accompanying struggles. This series will take place before Bridgerton.

The first episode is going to be very promising. It's called Queen To Be, so there's a good chance we will see the meeting between Charlotte and George. Ican'twait.
