Huh: Are Harry Styles and Jennifer Aniston flirting?

I always find the British tabloids incredibly interesting because nine times out of ten they contain the biggest nonsense. Exhibit A: all the coverage always surrounding Harry and Meghan. Exhibit B: the nonsense this week about another Harry: Styles, and his new romance with Jennifer Aniston.

Now we certainly know that Harry has a preference for older women and I, at 33, am personally very pleased with that, yet I have my doubts about this new couple. Mainly because Harry has admitted that when he was a little Harry, he first felt butterflies in his stomach for Jennifer. So far I understand it because Jennifer Aniston is beautiful. I also understand that he invited her to one of his concerts in LA and that she accepted. But everything after that I don't understand anymore.

Harry Styles ended his series of concerts in Los Angeles with a bang show. Literally, because he literally burst out of his pants on stage. To the great delight of his fans, of course, but polite as Harry is, he immediately offered his apologies. Also to Jennifer, who was in the audience.

But if we are to believe The Mirror she found his wardrobe malfunction quite charming, because that would have been the reason she sent him a few messages after the concert. That evening would mark the beginning of a series of ‘flirty messages’ between the 29-year-old singer and the 54-year-old actress.

The Mirror claims to have spoken to friends of Jennifer Aniston who say that Harry ‘ticks all the boxes that Jennifer is looking for’ and that she has already mentioned that there could be a relationship. ‘Jen joked with friends about who her next flame would be and Harry came up. He ticks all the boxes: he is successful, intellectual, edgy and cooler than anyone else AND he is completely on her level.’ Okay, that all makes sense. Maybe I'm just jealous.

Jennifer's ‘friends’ continue: ‘And of course, it also helps that he clearly has a thing for older women and has admitted to having a crush on her in the past, so she is convinced that this has a much greater chance of success than her other recent contacts. How Jen sees it: she would be crazy not to have some fun. Harry has a great sense of humor and is very relaxed, they are a perfect match on paper.’

Yep. A lot. Of. Jealousy.
