Netflix tip of the day: A Beautiful Life

Sometimes nothing beats a nice romantic movie where you don't have to think too much and can just watch the handsome lead actors. Will it ever be Oscar-worthy? Of course not, but that's not why you watch it. And Netflix understands that all too well.

That's why I'm recommending A Beautiful Life to you today, which is full of clichés yet never bores for a moment. The film revolves around Elliott, played by Danish pop star Christopher. Elliott is a fisherman with an ambition to become a great singer. Yes, this is the Danish version of A Star Is Born. And I love it.

He meets Lilly on his way to great success. She is the daughter of a deceased celebrity and is a real ice queen. Of course, nothing is as it seems, because even though they can't initially see eye to eye, they seem to have more in common than they think. And, you’ll never guess… They fall in love.

Admittedly: A Beautiful Life is deliciously dramatic where it sometimes isn't entirely necessary, but it is so enjoyable to watch. A big recommendation for your upcoming movie night.
