Netflix is impossible to resist, man. It all started with 365 Days, but by now this has grown into a full category: erotic thrillers. Fatal Seduction is currently doing well too, but if you're not in the mood for a series but for a movie, then I have the very best tip for you.

Heatwave is now on Netflix and it's a delightful watch. And yes, it's yet another erotic thriller. Not new by the way, as it dates back to 2022, but it is new on Netflix. And since that's the platform where I watch new movies, I count it as a new addition.

The film is about Claire, who starts a new job at a large real estate agency. Her boss is a big, powerful, and successful businessman. And his wife... Claire has an affair with her. Hoooo, this is going to be steamy, but we could have guessed that with a name like Heatwave.

Starting an affair with your boss's wife is obviously asking for trouble, and it quickly starts to get messy. On top of that, certain secrets from Claire's past threaten to come to light that are linked to various offenses. She also suspects her boss's wife of having ulterior motives. Is she stealing money from her husband?

Definitely a recommendation. Not a high-flyer in terms of suspense, but just right.
