Netflix tip of the day: Obliterated

Wait a minute, there's a brand new series on Netflix that looks really fun to me and I didn't even realize it had come online. Come on Netflix, new series should really be announced with a bit more fanfare, because this is one that a lot of people are going to enjoy.

You won't be bored for a second with Obliterated, which is the name of the new series. Lots of action, humor, and beautiful images of Sin City. This eight-part series takes place in Las Vegas and I always find that to have a bit of magic. Not magical like New York, but magical because you have no idea what goes on in all those casinos and hotels. In my mind, Las Vegas is just one big collection of The Hangover-practices.

And honestly: Obliterated gives exactly that image. Extravagant parties, and meanwhile, a group of special forces has to ensure that a bomb from a large terrorist network is neutralized, because if it explodes, all of Vegas will be wiped out in one go.

Meanwhile, that same group of special forces also wants to enjoy life a bit, so they hit all the rooftop parties. You have to have a little fun while saving the world, right?

Anyway, Obliterated is really enjoyable to watch. Netflix, seriously: announce these series a bit more grandly next time, because now a lot of people are going to miss it and that's a shame.
