The new thriller on Netflix that you want to see

Here it was about time for a good, truly thrilling thriller on Netflix, if you ask me. Because it's been a while. The last one that comes to mind was a vague Brazilian erotic thriller that didn't really make my thriller heart race. But this one does. At least the trailer does, because it just came out.

Notably, it's a Dutch-Belgian thriller called Noise. And the trailer is already full of screaming, tension, jump scares, abandoned buildings, and mysterious villages. Alright, I'll go over the plot with you because as thrilling as the trailer looks, the story isn't really clear to me.

Noise revolves around Matt (Ward Kerremans) who moves with his wife Liv (Sallie Harmsen) and newborn child to his parental home, where he discovers a grim family secret. Interestingly, Matt is a professional influencer, so I'm curious if and how that relates to the plot.

Fortunately, we don't have to wait long: Noise will be online on March 17. My expectations are high, and after seeing the name Sallie Harmsen, I think I'll watch Loft again in preparation, the proof that thrilling films from Dutch soil do indeed exist. Zinnnn in.
