Viewers call this new Netflix movie the best in 15 years

I would have completely skipped this movie if I hadn't accidentally come across reviews from viewers. ‘Old Dads’ just doesn't sound like a movie that would be for me, and no, I base that on absolutely nothing except the title. So, quite superficial, and I will admit right away that I was wrong because this movie is just really fun.

It's completely understandable that Twitter is raving about this new comedy, which has been online for about a month on Netflix. The lead role is played by Bill Burr, who also wrote and directed the film. I will honestly admit: I didn't know this man, but a simple Google search told me that he is an American comedian.

And a very good comedian too, it turns out: on Twitter, he is called the GOAT, and many viewers are not at all surprised that Old Dads has really become a very funny movie. It's also really a recommendation if you sometimes get a bit tired of how sensitive society has become; it often seems like you can't say anything anymore, that everyone gets ‘canceled’, and that you have to take everything and everyone into account. I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing, but it can definitely go too far here and there.

And Old Dads knows how to present this in a very funny and clever way. A feast of recognition... Even if you're not an Old Dad.
