Still looking for an idea for a generous yet easy dessert, where you can make a lot without it costing an arm and a leg (the holidays have already been expensive enough)? Then check out this recipe for caramelized bananas from the Airfryer once.

Ingredients

  • 4 ripe bananas
  • 2 tsp neutral oil
  • 2 tbsp sugar of your choice

Because for something that is sweet, comforting, and delicious, you sometimes don't need to go through complicated maneuvers. Get a bunch of bananas at home, preferably organic or fair trade, and wait until they are nicely ripe (you can also help the ripening of bananas a bit, you know.), then turn on the Airfryer and in no time you will have a simple but nice dessert or just a tasty snack on the table.

Here's how to make caramelized bananas from the Airfryer

  • Preheat the Airfryer to 175° C.
  • Cut the bananas in half lengthwise and use a brush to coat them with a little neutral oil.
  • Sprinkle coconut blossom sugar (or regular sugar) over them and bake for 12 minutes until they are beautifully golden brown.
  • Super tasty with something healthy like oatmeal, but also great as a dessert with a scoop of ice cream. This croissant ice cream for example, you want that, right?!
