This MAFS couple is still together

Or do the gossip channels have it right?

After the hope-in-love nourishing finale of Married At First Sight Netherlands, rings are being thrown off. After Wichian and Loes, Richelle and Maarten, today it was Patricia and Stephan who will no longer go through life as husband and wife. Although that poor Stephan will still be eating farmer's mousse tonight at Patricia's parents‘ house. That seemed to me just one of the advantages of a divorce: that you could let that pureed mush pass you by. But luckily there is the exception to the well-known rule. Cathelijne and Laura are still together. Or at least: Laura posted a wedding photo on her Instagram with the caption: ’Still head over heels in love with you.'.

When I optimistically texted this photo to Wieke, she raised an eyebrow because she had read on various gossip channels that the two had split up. So that started my little investigation. The two still follow each other, which is a good sign. But of the 5405 hearts, none are from Cathelijne. And that is of course a bit odd.

Let's hope that Cathelijne takes a digital detox and just spends the weekend with Laura in the horse meadow. We'll keep a close eye on it anyway.
