The Traitors: aftershow episode 9

Ooooh, just one more episode and then we're already in the final. This season has really flown by, but at the same time it feels like an eternity ago that Giorgio was voted out. It really seems the worst to be banished in one of the first episodes: everyone completely forgets you as the final approaches.

For one of the last times then: let’s goooo.

1. Can we not just call De Verraders better De Huismannen from now on? The Huismannetjes? It sounds like a bad reality show but hey, it's justified.

2. But to be completely honest, I'm a bit afraid that we can only call this episode that. Also if you think logically: the creators would be crazy if they didn't make one of the brothers a Traitor, purely for the drama.

3. Look at me now, comfortably discussing logical thinking from the couch about the most mindf*cking series of the moment.

4. Uhhh, what exactly is happening here? De Verraders meets Expeditie Robinson? That game already makes you mentally quite wobbly, I think, and then you also have to eat pig tongues, -legs and who knows what else...

5. LifeProTip: if you ever participate in De Verraders, just say that you eat vegan for safety; maybe you can avoid these kinds of challenges.

6. Sander: ‘I just feel some resistance, I see the seed leader of the sheep…’ I'm so glad I've already eaten.

7. Nathan: whole of the episode. ‘Well, it’s actually quite nice. And I was actually quite hungry too.’ He's just munching away. HAHA.

8. Honestly, he looks just as happy as I do when I get served a Big Mac after months.

9. Anyway, I really want more Nathan on my screen, in all possible shows. What a genuinely cheerful person he is. Absolutely lovely.

10. And then you have Chahid who finds everything fine to eat. Except for tomatoes. What have tomatoes done to you for God's sake? I really find that such an innocent vegetable.

11. And couldn't they at least shave those hairs off the ear for appearance's sake?

12. All suspicions point to Betty. Her reaction? ‘I'm actually surprised that you are only bringing this up now.’ HAHA. She's just turning the defenses in a completely different direction: making yourself even more suspicious.

13. Aaahh, that poor Betty. For eight episodes she flies under the radar and suddenly she gets kicked out like that. Just before the final. Ouch, ouch, ouch.

14. Next week we will already know who is in the final. Hooooly shit, how exciting. I seriously think that everyone has figured out Sander and Jordy by now, but how are they going to handle that?

15. Billy gets killed, or Chahid. Or Nathan. Or Noor. Hahaaa, the best would be if they could kill everyone tonight, because the Huismannetjes are on everyone's suspect list.
