It has been a long time since I looked forward to a new movie like this and I really hope not to be disappointed. I actually have all the confidence in that, because the first screenings (to gauge the audience's reaction) have already taken place and a few people mentioned on Reddit that the film really lived up to all expectations, and more. Of course, I'm talking about Barbie, with Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling. The lucky few who got to attend a screening even said that the film is much deeper than you would think and one person said they cried twice. Okay, okay, tissues in the cinema.

The teaser was launched some time ago and now we also have the real trailer. And it looks so incredibly fun. How cool is all of this made? Barbieland, so pink, Ryan Gosling, Margot Robbie (she is really made to play Barbie, right?); everything just seems to fit.

And fun: it also seems to be genuinely funny. Everything is perfect in Barbieland until it suddenly goes wrong, and quite a bit too. Suddenly Barbie has to take a cold shower. Suddenly — the HORROR — her feet are flat instead of chronically in heels. Pure panic.

Well, watch the trailer below for yourself, because it is really too fun. And just wait a little longer, because it comes to the cinema on July 21.
