Strandzuid opens Parkzuid in Amsterdam

If you live in Amsterdam, the chance is almost nil that you don't know Strandzuid. This has been a hotspot near the RAI for years, where you can enjoy sitting by the water — especially in the summer. My favorite on sunny days are the loungers on the beach, but on Fridays, having drinks in the evening is always a good idea.

They are finally going to expand now. And when they do, they are of course going to do it right: at this prime location in Vondelpark. Does that sound familiar? It might, until recently there was a restaurant there. No Rules.

Right, that gigantic beautiful building in the middle of Vondelpark. With a lovely terrace and a view over the entire park. Yep, that place, that's where Parkzuid will open its doors. Sounds good, right? Even better: you can already go there early in the morning. Parkzuid opens at ten in the morning for breakfast and closes its doors at six (Sunday to Thursday) or seven (Friday and Saturday). After that, you can head straight to Strandzuid for more drinks.

And, when can we go there? Well, now; Parkzuid is already completely open for business. And seeing the interior like this, I want to go there this week!
