Sometimes it's better to keep your mouth shut, but that's difficult as a celeb. You have to talk to a lot of press, promote your projects, and that includes interviews. Some celebs aren't the best at this and it often results in hilarious quotes.

But some celebs can really only blame themselves, because they just post the biggest nonsense on Twitter. And as you might know: nothing ever completely disappears from the internet. That's why I've compiled the most hilarious (and dumb) statements from celebrities for you.

1. Mark Wahlberg about 9/11: ‘If I had been on that plane with my kids, it wouldn't have ended the way it did. There would be a lot of blood in that first class and they would hear me say: ‘Okay, we're going to land somewhere safe, don't worry.’’

…Wow. I honestly have no words for this. Anyway, Mark Wahlberg is quite problematic, but this statement is next level.

2. Jaden Smith: ‘Being born was the most influential thing that’s ever happened to me, for myself.’

3. Jaden Smith: ‘How can mirrors be real if our eyes aren’t real?’

4. Jaden Smith: ‘If newborn babies could speak they would be the most intelligent beings on planet earth.’

5. Jaden Smith: ‘They want you to believe the sun is hot.’

I could go on for hours with quotes from Jaden Smith.

6. Niall Horan who answers the question what his ‘pet peeve’ is: ‘Rabbits. They are pointless and do nothing.’

A ‘pet peeve’ is something (small) that personally annoys you a lot. Niall took this opportunity to attack innocent rabbits.

7. In the same category, and this remains my favorite, Demi Lovato who answers the question: ‘What is your favorite dish?’

‘I like mugs, because they’re very comfortable in your hand, and they hold hot things that you don’t have to touch. So, um, you know, coffee or hot tea.’

This will never not be funny.

8. This tweet from Bebe Rexha

Paris in 1940… Oooké. She later responded that she never passed history class so had no idea she would be traveling back to the start of World War II.
