Confession time: I had to swallow hard when I saw these knee-length pants come by on my Pinterest feed. Last year, the Hadid sisters were already parading in them, but I was determined: they won't convince me. Now Miss Bieber is rocking them too, and if our Hailey wears it, we can't fall behind.

‘Jorts’ is what the short pants in question are called: a combination of shorts and jeans. Sounds a bit less sexless than knee-length pants, if you ask me. So guess what I scored in the Zara sale the day before yesterday. Yes, a jort. If you had told me three years ago that I would spend my money on a knee-length pant, I would have laughed right in your face. But I thought the same back then about Dr. Martens, and in the meantime, I've worn out two pairs, so there you go. What's next? Sandals with white socks?

Anyway, if you, like me, have become a lover of jorts, then I have found the most fashionable long denim shorts for you. It takes some getting used to, but with a tight top and cool cowboy boots underneath, you'll be completely up to date.
