The latest feature in WhatsApp that you are going to use a lot

To be honest: the new features of WhatsApp are really a bit hit or miss. I find the ability to play voice memos at increased speed truly the best invention since sliced bread, but I have never heard anyone rave about the stories you can post. Serious question: does anyone use this?
So I actually think this new addition is really cool, and also incredibly smart of WhatsApp. Maybe you've heard about it (unless you've been living under a rock, that can happen too): Elon Musk took over Twitter a while ago. Since that acquisition, Twitter has ended up in a very vicious circle: it suddenly became X, you have to pay to have a verified account, Trump was allowed to come back... All pure misery.
And that's a shame, because Twitter was incredibly useful, for example, to stay updated on the latest news about basically everything. From entertainment to football, from politics to opinion; everything was shared on Twitter and it was nice and clear, because your feed was exactly how you wanted it – what you followed, you saw. And now all of that is gone.
Enter WhatsApp Channels: the new feature that will replace Twitter.
Here's how WhatsApp Channels works: when you're in your WhatsApp (make sure to download the latest version of course), go to the ‘Updates’ section at the bottom left. There you will now find all sorts of options regarding channels you can subscribe to. This way, you can now create your own ‘feed’ of outlets you like to follow. So you'll never miss an important message again, whether it's from the Volkskrant, a video from Dumpert, or an article from Vogue... Or from Amayzine of course. Yes, of course we are also available here. Just click here, then you can subscribe to our newest channel. This way, you'll never miss a recap, news item, fashion trend, or one of our lifestyle and beauty articles. How convenient is that?.
