Rooftop bars in Barcelona

Barcelona is and remains the ultimate getaway. Whether it's with your girlfriends, your mother, your daughter, your partner: it's always fun there because of the perfect combination of beach and city. And when you're in such a beautiful city, you can't help but watch the sunset from a towering terrace with a cocktail in your hand. Barcelona is full of rooftop bars and I love to share my best tips with you. Bet you'll spontaneously want to book a return trip to Barça because of this?

1. RoofTop Ohla Barcelona
You can compare it to the W Lounge in Amsterdam, but then in a Spanish way. This is due to the luxurious pool in the middle of the terrace where you can just float around – of course while enjoying a drink. If I may recommend one: the cocktail with passion fruit and a hint of honey. You must try this. Lastly, and also the best part: the staff. Rooftop Ohla is known for having fantastic staff and it's hard not to agree with that here.

2. Hotel Colon
This is definitely the absolute winner in terms of view. You look directly at the Sagrada Família, and not just from a distance: you're looking right at it. But well, such an Instagram-worthy view does cost something. An Aperol Spritz is a whopping fifteen euros and for a beer, you quickly pay five euros. Fortunately, they offer free access and you don't have to stay at the hotel to enjoy everything this rooftop bar has to offer. A small tip: if you want to watch the sunset, it's best to make a reservation.

@wherejesstravels 📍 The terrace at Hotel Colon is a beautiful spot for a drink overlooking Barcelona. Apart from the hideous Samsung advert they’ve currently got on the cathedral 😭 #barcelona #barcelonaguide #barcelonabars #barcelonarooftop #barcelonafoodie #barcelonafood #barcelonadrinks #visitbarcelona ♬ original sound – Tik Toker

3. Unlimited Barcelona

You may not have a view of the Sagrada, but a 360-degree view is also not a punishment. The terrace is located on, yes, the 22nd floor with an amazing view over the entire center. But it wouldn't be a rooftop bar if there wasn't an entrance fee. During the day you pay twelve euros per person and in the evening, another good ten euros is added. The name ’unlimited‘ says it all: drinks are fortunately included here. For 45 minutes then. You really have to do it for the atmosphere, because it's great with the almost always present DJ. And that liter of Sangria there: chef’s kiss.
