The Netflix code that every true crime lover should know

I didn't know this for an outrageously long time: the codes of Netflix. These are secret codes that allow you to find certain ‘hidden categories’. Incredibly handy, because I find Netflix's categories sometimes so vague. ‘True stories with a strong female lead’, for example, I find that a fairly niche category. No, just give me code 9875.

And remember that code too, because if you enter this at Netflix, you'll end up in the ‘true crime documentaries’ category, and that's exactly my favorite category. How convenient is that?

There are — estimated, because they remain ‘secret codes’ — over 76,000 codes for different Netflix categories. I didn't even know that so many categories existed, but some codes are indeed very specific – and probably some codes haven't even been found yet.
