This is what you deserve as a single on Temptation Island

Yeah, the new season of Temptation Island is just around the corner, the show where couples are still under the illusion that their relationship is strong enough, and see this as the perfect opportunity to significantly grow their number of Instagram followers. They can already picture it: all the collaborations, being an influencer, the free stuff that gets sent to you... Only you have to keep pretending in front of the camera that this is the ultimate relationship test for you. Oh, that should work.

For the singles participating, it's almost the same: they persist in being there to find love, but the legitimate question of why they don't just go on Tinder instead of seducing taken men on TV is never really asked. And that love is also never found. Wouldn't it be obvious that the singles mainly participate for the money? But do you really earn that much?

According to Angela de Jong, that was the case in 2019 at least, she told the Morning Show at the time. Angela said she had heard from very reliable sources that if a single (then still called a seducer in Temptation Island) managed to kiss someone, that person would receive 3000 euros. If you had sex as a single? Then 10,000 euros would be credited to your bank account. Quite a hefty amount.

This was of course in 2019, so it's questionable whether that still applies in 2023. I seriously doubt it, and also whether it was actually the case back then. Can a former seducer perhaps provide some inside info about this?
