Mark May 25 in your calendar, and make sure you have access to a Disney+ account: The Kardashians are back. Season 3 already and the trailer has just dropped, which is of course made as dramatic as possible. And that is also necessary, because seasons 1 and 2 were not really what we expected, and that criticism seems to have reached the Kardashians themselves.

Hulu was therefore not very enthusiastic about the series, which was announced with quite a bit of fanfare. After twenty seasons, they decided to end it at E+ and then struck a gigantic deal with Hulu for a sequel. However, fans quickly noticed that in that sequel, it all seems just a bit less authentic, and it is actually mostly advertising for the various businesses of the family members.

When Kim Kardashian also decided that she wanted to cut her relationship with Pete Davidson out of the show afterwards (because the two were no longer together), a storm of criticism followed. Honestly: I understand it. We watch their reality series precisely because we want to experience something behind the scenes, to see a piece of the drama. Tristan can make so many other women pregnant next to Khloé; we see nothing of it anymore.

The trailer for the new season looks juicy so far, but will it deliver? I’m curious.
