Netflix tip of the day: Where the Crawdads Sing

Today not a brand new tip, but I still wanted to mention it. It's on Netflix and it's really a recommendation, which I unfortunately can't say about the new Netflix movie You People. I'm talking about Where The Crawdads Sing, based on the book of the same name. By the way, it's been sitting on my nightstand for a while, so if you've read it, let me know if it's a tip.
Often I find books better than the movie and that would be very promising in this case; I really thought it was a great movie. The story is about Kya (extremely well played by Daisy Edgar-Jones), who lives in the deep south of the United States in the 1950s. The story is a delightful combination of a coming-of-age film and a detective; Kya tries to find her way in life, in her surroundings, when she is labeled a suspect in the murder of a man she had a relationship with.
Finally, a good movie that knows how to hold your attention, that is thrilling but also sensitive. Additionally, I really enjoyed the cinematography and well, Carolina by Taylor Swift on the soundtrack completes it. A recommendation for your next movie night.
