Wow: you can now combat cat allergies with special kibble

For me, the choice would be easy if I met someone who is allergic to cats; my cat stays. Unfortunately, that would then be a very short-lived relationship, because I would immediately show that allergic prince on the white horse the door. Well, I would have done that, now it might not even be necessary anymore.

There are now cat kibble that would ensure that you no longer suffer from your allergy. They have been developed by Purina and they now have four different variants of their ‘Pro Plan LiveClear’ selection. A mouthful, but well, then you are not sneezing or suffering from other complaints.

How does it work? An allergy to cats is caused by the allergens from the cat. These end up in the cat's skin flakes and hair — so it’s not that you are allergic to, for example, the type of hair of a cat. Those allergens are therefore tackled by these special kibbles; those allergens (nice technical story, this) are actually produced in the salivary glands. A certain protein is produced there and you guessed it: that protein is neutralized by these kibbles.

Personally, I think this is really the best invention since sliced bread. Has anyone here had experience with it and does it really work against that allergy? That would be amazing. Never having to choose between your cat and your partner again.
