This is something a narcissist would never say to you

Narcissism seems to be a trend word: as if everyone suddenly has a touch of narcissism. But it is also good that there is more attention for this personality disorder. Narcissists can manipulate, especially in romantic relationships. There is something that narcissists never dare to say. Or well, they might just barely dare to say it, but they don't say it quickly.

One of the characteristics of narcissism is a lack of genuine self-reflection and empathy for others, which can manifest in communication. They talk a lot about themselves and less about what is happening in your life; that simply does not interest them much. As long as you give them attention and put them in the spotlight, it's fine.

What they don't say quickly? ‘I'm sorry.’ Narcissists often struggle to take responsibility for their actions. They can avoid offering apologies or taking responsibility for the damage they have caused. This may stem from a deeply rooted sense of superiority or an inability to empathize with others. They simply do not believe they are wrong, and therefore they never have to say ‘sorry.’ A clear characteristic, therefore, of a narcissist. If someone never says this to you, your alarm bells should start ringing.
