When do people prefer to hook up and chain in bed? Well, there is a specific time associated with it, according to thorough research. And it varies quite a bit by age category.

You start your day off well and sexy.

Various studies say that both men and women experience an increased libido at specific times of the day. For many people, it turns out that early morning, around 6:00 to 9:00 AM, is the peak period for sexual arousal. This is due to the natural hormonal cycle that peaks in the morning. This applies to most couples, but not to everyone. Thirties peak precisely around 8:20 AM.

And are you a twenty-something? Full of energy and desire? Then you might want something at the end of the afternoon. Your libido is quite high around 3:00 PM. Not a convenient time, I must say. Because you are probably busy doing things. But then you can prepare for the evening. Are you in your forties? Then your libido peaks around 9:00 PM.

Well, you know? Any time is good. Most couples have sex at all times of the day. For one, the evening is a moment of rest and excitement, for another, it’s just nice to go to sleep. It also depends on the life stage you are in, you know. With young children at home, for example, it makes sense that you are just tired and want to sleep in the evening, but that you also have no time in the morning. So you might pick up more other times during the day, if that works. If the morning is not the right moment due to your schedule or personal preferences, it can be smart (and nice) to experiment with other moments of the day when you feel relaxed and connected. Libido is not only dependent on hormones but also on emotional connection, physical health, and mental peace.

But if you wake up with some passion in your body and just crave an orgasm? That is scientifically proven to be very normal (and healthy). So just enjoy it.
