Arno and Niels from B&B share how things really are between them

By

Political statements, new roles and career switches. A lot has happened in the lives of the celebs again. We go through some notable moments with you.

Billie Eilish is team Harris

After Taylor Swift, singer Billie Eilish also expresses her support for presidential candidate Kamala Harris. Together with her brother, singer-songwriter Finneas O’Connell, she urges her followers in a video message to register and vote. According to the duo, it is the only way to prevent extremists from coming to power in the US. “Vote like your life depends on it, because it does.”

After the B&B reunion

It has been a week since we finally got to see which B&B Vol Liefde couples are still together. During the reunion, Arno and Niels said they were no longer together, despite having tried for a while and having worked on the house together. This last point has now led to a lot of criticism. Arno would have only continued so that he had help with the roof of the B&B. Niels completely disagrees with that. On his Instagram, he shares how it really is and calls for everyone to be a bit kinder to each other.

Career switch

That talk show hosts do their research well was evident during actor Chris Hemsworth's interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Kimmel had discovered that Hemsworth sometimes takes on the role of barber at home and cuts his sons' hair. The talk show host wanted to see that. He had someone from the audience come up who was cut live on air. The same bowl cut hairstyle with bangs, just like the actor's children. If acting ever stops, Hemsworth at least knows what he can do.

A look behind the scenes

The recordings of ‘Buying Without Looking’ are a long process. Houses need to be found and then completely renovated. That takes time, of course. While we wait for the new season, interior design specialist Roos Reedijk shares a behind-the-scenes look at the previous season. From going out with Martijn, Bob, and Alex, to going through the participants' wishes.

Child stars

Actress and singer Demi Lovato started acting at the age of seven and grew up in front of the public eye. In her new documentary ‘Child Star’, Lovato talks to other stars who have also been in the spotlight from a young age. Among others, Drew Barrymore, Christina Ricci, and Raven-Symone share their stories. The documentary is available on Disney+. On their Instagram, Lovato and Barrymore share the first footage.

Rico Verhoeven in Hollywood

Kickboxer Rico Verhoeven has also been working as an actor for some time alongside his sports career. He played the lead role in the film ‘Black Lotus’. Again, Verhoeven has landed a major role in the action film ‘Den of Thieves 2: Pantera’. The cast also includes Gerard Butler and 50 Cent. The film will be available from January 2025, but Verhoeven is already sharing a small preview.

Cooking à la Dolly Parton

Singer Dolly Parton is releasing a cookbook with her sister Rachel, ‘Good Lookin’ Cookin’. The book contains recipes suitable for various occasions. There are recipes specifically for holidays like Christmas, Easter, or New Year's Eve. According to Parton, good food, like love, is very important in life.

Open-hearted Vogue debut

Actress Florence Pugh is gracing the cover of Vogue magazine for the first time. In an interview with the magazine, Pugh talks about the past ten years in Hollywood and her new film ‘We Live in Time’, which premiered at the Toronto Film Festival and will be in theaters starting January. The actress also cautiously shares some information about her new love for the first time.
