The smarter you are, the less chance you have on the dating market

By

Are you just not having success in your single life? Maybe you are just too smart. Because yes, research shows that very intelligent people have less chance in the dating market.

You simply have a bit less choice because you are particularly smart. Because if you are intelligent, you usually look for someone who is also intelligent. Personally, I find nothing as unattractive as people who just know nothing. Those stupid Dutch spelling mistakes. Deal breaker number one: saying stupid things that make no sense. And so you see: the smarter you are, the less choice you have in the dating market.

People with high intelligence may tend to appreciate deep conversations and intellectual connections. This can lead them to set higher standards for a potential partner, making it harder to find someone who meets their expectations. They may also feel that they struggle to connect with people who have different interests or thought patterns. So you are critical yourself, and yes, not everyone is waiting for a huge smartass. That has even been proven... Sorry.

Research has shown that both men and women sometimes hesitate to enter into relationships with people they consider “too smart”, especially if they feel that their own intelligence would be overshadowed. This can lead to insecurity and feelings of inequality in the relationship. So you know, it’s not always your fault if you’ve been single for a long time. It’s all about your IQ.
