These are the 9 best-paying jobs you don't need a degree for

By

Are you not into the brave studying? Are books and exams not for you? Not really. After all, there are plenty of jobs that pay well for which you don't need a degree at all.

Now I'm a bit of a ‘just finish school properly’ type myself. Life is a bit more certain when you have those papers. Anyway, I won't patronisingly point the finger, because you want to know what makes you rich that doesn't require a degree. Plenty of jobs that earn well but have no officially protected title. For example, psychologist: you can't call yourself a psychologist if you haven't completed that training. However, you can call yourself coach, because that is not a protected title. As a coach, you can do roughly the same work as a psychologist and still earn a lot.

But this is where you earn the most:

1. You have to have some talent for it, but as a professional footballer you can earn a lot without ever having been to school. Or in another top sport: tennis will earn you quite a bit too.

2. Acting or singing. But that just has to be given to you, that talent for this. Anyway, with acting and singing you can practice well to get better at it. Who knows, you might break through. Do you think Beyoncé ever got her bachelor's in anything?

3. Influencer. Maybe not what you wanted to know, but yes, making and posting a few Stories can put 10K in your pocket in no time.

4. Advisor or consultant. Especially if you work for yourself, this can get you good jobs with larger companies, which will soon see you getting 20K per job in your account.

5. DJ. Still a popular profession and that's not surprising: no studies, but the money. And that with a bit of music on. Party and get rich.

6. Photomodel. Must have just been given some good genes, but then again, you have something.

7. Real estate agent. Can make you good money, especially if you do it as a self-employed person and not as an employee of a company. So start for yourself. Because estate agents are no longer a protected profession, you can get started without a diploma.

8. Alderman. In politics it is hard work, but once you are at the top, you can really cash in pleasantly and improve the world at the same time.

9. Plumber. Plumbers install and maintain plumbing and heating systems. They can develop their skills through apprenticeship programmes, vocational training or practical experience. And that is good for the wallet, because there is always a shortage of plumbers. So you are always sure of work. And a high hourly rate.
