New food hype after the crompouce: the Crookie

If you thought we were done after the crompouce, you are mistaken. Something new has been born in the food world: the Crookie.
It sounds delicious and it is delicious: the combination of a croissant and a cookie. In other words: croissant dough topped with a thick layer of cookie dough. There were already some croissants filled with an Oreo filling, but this is different. Imagine this: you eat a croissant and the filling consists of that ultimate cookie dough. The tips of le croiss are dipped in buttery soft cookie dough, just like you know from that tub of ice cream. The most beautiful food combo that exists, as far as we are concerned. A whopping 7000 calories per bite, but well, we gladly accept that in this case. The Crookie is already going viral on TikTok.
The Crookie was invented by a baker in Paris. You can also easily make it yourself. You need croissant dough and you bake it almost completely, so just a few minutes before it's done, you take it out of the oven. Then you add cookie dough with chocolate chip pieces (you can make it yourself for the tastiest fresh experience). Then you sprinkle some cookie dough on top of the croissant and put it all back in the oven for another five minutes. The cookie dough should still be a little soft and raw (just be careful not to get sick from it; something with raw eggs and that kind of stuff).
