Festival food: this is what you take with you

Dancing, listening to your favorite bands and hopefully nice weather goes hand in hand with nights in a tent and little sleep. It's important to eat well, so. Although the food at most festivals is getting better and better, it's nice to gather a good base at your tent. With these tips, you'll only want to eat at your own tent..
Everything you won't drink on the first day must at least be non-perishable. Unfortunately, this limits your choices, but believe us, it will be just fine.
The first evening
Make sure you have a good cooler. It only works on the first day, but it's nice to keep drinks cold and possibly take a meal for the first evening for when the grounds are not yet open.
Snacks
Your tent is set up, time for a well-deserved snack. This is the moment to whip out hummus, baba ganoush, raw vegetables, dolmas, and olives from the cooler. Of course, you didn't make anything yourself, a trip to the Turkish place is enough.
Dinner
Good options for your first evening meal are pasta, noodle, or rice salad. You can easily put them in a container and then eat them with a fork or spoon. No fuss with knife and fork. For example, make pasta salad with eggplant and walnut pesto, noodles with chicken and garlic-peanut dressing or freestyle a rice salad.
Breakfast
White rolls from the supermarket are your best friend, there's so much junk in them that they stay good for days. A jar of peanut butter or Nutella and you're done. Breakfast cake also works well, rice cakes and rye bread are also long-lasting.
Feeling like unpacking? Then bring homemade granola bars. Hardcore campers bring a gas stove and fry an egg or pancakes.
Snacking
Walking, dancing, running, sometimes your legs get tired and you need to rest by the tent between acts. For these moments, bags of chips, popcorn, and dried sausages are made. Don't forget to bring a small knife if you're going for a dried sausage, or go old school and bring Bifi.
Dinner
Most likely, during dinner, you're enjoying an overpriced hamburger, wood-fired pizza, poke bowl, or steamed bun. But if you want a budget evening, we highly recommend hot dogs. Again with chemical white rolls, canned sausages. Bring a tube of mayo and ketchup and your dinner is a fact. Unfortunately, we can't make it much more culinary for you.
Dessert
Making dinner very fancy is difficult, but luckily you can go all out at dessert. Brownies, muffins, and cake can all be kept outside the fridge. As long as there are no chocolate pieces in them, which will melt.
Not in the mood to get started yourself? Then your friends will surely be very happy if you pull a bag of Haribo out of your bag.
