These will be the 5 biggest hair trends for autumn 2024

For those who love to flaunt the latest trends, this hairstyle is one you definitely shouldn't forget. Every season, special hair colors and styles make their entrance again. To ensure that you can trade your sun-bleached locks for a fresh cut this coming autumn, I've already peeked at the runways to see what's coming. This way, you can start orienting yourself for your next hair appointment.

Shaggy Cut

The Shaggy Cut has already had nine lives this year, but we're just going to add a tenth. This somewhat edgier hairstyle comes in all shapes and sizes, as long as it has bangs and lots of layers. Think of a wolf cut, a mullet, a pixie, or a Scandi bob. Top it off with a generous dose of texture spray and you're completely up-to-date.

Warm Bronde

Inspired by the locks of Gisele Bundchen, this iconic blonde hair color is back. Or should I say? Blonde? The color Warm Bronde is a mix of blonde with brown tones. It's definitely not platinum blonde, making the color easy to maintain and not damaging to the hair. That's nice too.

Glassy Brunette

Speaking of easy, the guardian angels are also watching over the brunettes. Brown locks can simply remain brown this coming season. No fuss with blonde highlights or extreme face frames. Just dye your locks in one specific brown color (preferably as dark as possible, according to the fashion girls) and your job is done.

Side-part

For those who thought they were finally done with the side part: I have bad news. The side part is making a comeback, and this time more extreme than ever. We've already seen it with Kylie Jenner, but it's also now impossible to miss on the catwalks: in updos, ponytails, buns, you name it. The perfectly straight part in the middle is now a thing of the past.

Low pony

Sometimes you buy those hair ties that are just not tight enough, causing your ponytail to hang in your neck in no time. That's annoying. However, if we are to believe the fashion girls — and we do — this autumn that will no longer be a problem. In fact, low ponytails are becoming a fashion statement. It's important to wear it as sleek as possible, so a good brush and gel are a must.
