This scented candle for €3 resembles a real Diptyque
Although there are often attempts to create a Diptyque dupe, we are rarely pleasantly surprised when it comes to the end result.
Don't get me wrong: they do smell nice, but the difference between the real deal and such a lookalike often remains significantly large. Today I give you the best excuse to slide an Ikea hot dog down your throat, because, yes, at our Swedish vänner (friends) we have finally found a perfect dupe of Diptyque's limited edition Tubéreuse scented candle after a long search. Confession: Ikea can absolutely still work on the looks of the ‘Lugnare’ scented candle and there is a difference of 20 burn hours between the candles, but with a price difference of €3,- vs. €60,- I can absolutely overlook that for now in certain areas of the house. I mean: how nice is this, for example, as a baby shower thank you for all the guests? Or to give as a gift to the teachers at school?
