If you're in a long-term relationship, you may occasionally experience a dip in your sex life. Generally, you don't need to worry right away: those peaks and valleys are perfectly normal and are part of the different seasons of life. If you have small children or an extremely busy period at work, your sex life might be less satisfying. This can make you fear that your lover is cheating, or you might feel that you find it harder to resist temptations. It's really not as embarrassing as you think. If you meet at a real date location, like a restaurant or a cozy bar with good cocktails, that will help a lot. Make sure that you don't leave for the date together. For example, your sweetheart leaves from the office (make sure to look nice in a good suit, of course) and you only see each other at the date. Do make sure you have a fun name for yourself ready, so you can really introduce yourself again. And then the fun begins discovering each other, who the other is, what occupies them, and ultimately... what they enjoy. It's super exciting, and this way you both get that ‘first date’ feeling again. So make time for it, and afterwards, you can immediately plan the next date.
