Let's catch up on P. Diddy-gate

It is now clear that the cesspool of P. Diddy has been opened. Update after update about the case is coming out. But with all this new information, it can sometimes be difficult to keep track. We will catch you up on the latest developments in P. Diddy-gate.
There is finally a date
Yesterday, Diddy appeared physically in court for the first time. He was assisted by his lawyers, and his mother and three of his children were present. The date on which the substantive trial will begin has been set. The first hearing will take place on Monday, May 5, 2025. Diddy’s lawyers attempted, after two failed attempts, once again to get him released on bail, but for now, he remains in custody. The previous requests were denied because Diddy was deemed a danger to witnesses. Whether that judgment has now changed will be reviewed later.
Diddy’s team accuses the U.S. government of defamation
In any case, we cannot say that Diddy’s lawyers are just sitting still and waiting. His team is now accusing the U.S. government of colluding with the media in a defamation campaign against Diddy. For instance, the searches were allegedly conducted during the day so that media attention would be even greater. The government is also said to be involved in leaking the video in which Diddy assaults his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura. The lawyers are now demanding a hearing in which all that evidence is (again) reviewed.
An employee of Diddy’s ex speaks out
American singer-songwriter Tiffany Red worked with Cassie Ventura for years and was good friends with her. In a special ‘Secret Life of Diddy’ broadcast of the ABC News program 20/20, Tiffany spoke about Diddy’s violent side. She recounts a phone call between him and Cassie in which he was just shouting: ‘B*tch, where are you?’ and ‘I know you’re not alone.’ According to Tiffany, everyone was afraid of him, but no one dared to do anything because of all his connections.
The hardest part in prison
P. Diddy has been in custody for almost a month now, and he is mainly struggling with one thing: the prison food. His lawyer Marc Agnifilo stated that Diddy does not tolerate the food very well. Although there seems to be quite a bit of choice. According to the Federal Bureau of Prisons handbook, there are regular and vegetarian options, and prisoners can also buy food in the commissary, a store in the prison. His other lawyer, Anthony L. Ricco, did mention that Diddy is trying to adapt since he will be in custody for a while.
Settlements may already have been reached
While the major trial has yet to begin, settlements may have already been reached between various victims and other involved stars. This is reported by lawyer Tony Buzbee, who represents dozens of victims. Buzbee does not want to disclose which artists are involved. To protect the victims, the cases are taking place outside of the media.
Piers Morgan apologizes to Jay-Z and Beyoncé
In his YouTube show ‘Uncensored’, British presenter Piers Morgan invited R&B singer Jaguar Wright last week. She claims to have been at Diddy’s infamous parties and has accused him of serious crimes for years, again now. But this time she also accused Jay-Z and Beyoncé of various facts and involvement with Diddy. The couple's lawyers did not let this go and contacted Morgan. He now says they have cooperated to remove the statements from the interview, and he offers his apologies. On Beyoncé and Jay-Z's socials, it remains silent.
