Manifesting: 9x why it really works if you want more success (and wealth)

By

Do you want to finally check off some big wishes from your list this year? Then manifesting really works. Not a buzzword, but simply scientifically proven.

For my book Happy Mom, I have done years of research on manifesting. It sounds trendier than it is. It is also not airy-fairy, although people sometimes think that manifesting is something like: ‘think positively and then luck will come your way!’ It's not that simple. Manifesting is hard work for your happiness, wealth, or success. And I believe in that one hundred percent.

You attract it

The law of attraction. What you really want, you achieve by truly believing in it. And not just thinking occasionally: gosh, I would like to start my own business, but working it out step by step, taking action, setting concrete goals, and achieving them. That works. Then at the end of this year, you will be somewhere else than where you are now. Manifestation is the process of consciously creating or attracting certain experiences, situations, or things in your life through thoughts, beliefs, and intentions.

The process of manifesting often involves visualizing what you want to achieve, having positive beliefs and feelings towards that goal, and taking actions that align with your intentions. And it's not that spiritual; you just have to start doing it. So manifesting is not just saying that you are going to start your own cupcake shop, but it is also baking and trying your first batch of cupcakes. It is also creating your own website, getting your first business cards printed, and registering your business name with the Chamber of Commerce. Do you understand what I mean? Not dreaming and especially hoping for something better in your life, but taking small actions that bring you closer to your big goal. That is achieving success. You don't achieve success in a week or in a day. You don't just set up your own business. Why do nine out of ten businesses go bankrupt after a few years? Because they don't take concrete steps to work towards success. They stand still.

And of course, you have to stay realistic. You always take into account complex factors such as social, economic, and personal circumstances with success and wealth. That comes with it. But if you don't start anywhere and stay where you are now, then you will remain where you are now. Read that again.

Do this and manifesting really works:

1. Break your big dream down into small, achievable goals.

2. Don't procrastinate and follow those smaller steps. Today you may not have earned a euro yet, but getting one percent closer to your dream every day is ultimately achieving your dream.

3. Don't give up too quickly in the face of setbacks: they teach you something.

4. Learn new things, meet new people, ask questions, and keep developing yourself.

5. Challenge yourself. Don't get stuck in everything you already know.

6. Visualize your dreams: see what you will be doing in two years, with whom, and where. Know and feel that you can achieve that if you work for it.

7. You won't get there with laziness. You won't get there with doubt either.

8. Try things out and yes, sometimes you fail. Sometimes things go wrong. But everyone has that, so don't take it too personally.

9. Will you be somewhere else next year than where you are now? Have you grown? Then that is personal success.
