May rents out her house in the Italian Puglia
Are you coming to the Puglia Paradise too?

From one thing comes another. That's how I got into a relationship with someone who took me to Italy. I didn't fall in love with the country as much as I did with him, but in the land of the boot, that blissful feeling was quite approached. We zigzagged through the country. From Bologna to Rome and from Forte dei Marmi to Naples. In Rome, we met Gianluca, a special man who pointed us towards Puglia. ‘La mia terra’ he said about the sacred ground in his eyes where he grew up.
In the meantime, we have managed to spread the Puglia virus widely. Our friends share the love and my father has even settled there. And since sitting still is not our strength, we decided to do something useful in Puglia and so we put our hard-earned pennies into a little house. For our ‘old age’ and all those gold-framed vacations. But because houses become happier when they are inhabited/I also want to give you a nice spot under the sun and I also want a sandwich with toppings, we rent out our Pugliese paradise.
When I arrive at Villa Certosa, I always have that better pop star feeling. Because of the enormous gate that slowly opens with the push of a button. Behind it lies our Garden of Eden, a 5000 square meter garden filled with olive trees so rich that we even press our own oil from them, a parcheggio, a trampoline, a swing, and especially our authentic Pugliese lamia.
It's not big, but certainly efficiently laid out. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and three toilets, a living room, and a cozy kitchen. Ask me to choose between the veranda at the front or the covered terrace by the pool and I won't be able to decide. I can never get enough of the evenings at the front of the house, overlooking the olive trees with the scent of the rosemary bush around you, but starting the day with a yoga session, or a massage, come on, under the gazebo by the pool is also worth its weight in gold. Not to mention cocktail hour by the pool while my beloved gets the outdoor kitchen going by lighting the barbecue with our trimmed olive wood.

Villa Certosa is located near Ostuni, also known as La Citta Bianca (the white city). A delightful and vibrant town. If you're there, definitely go to Malibu in Ostuni, one of the most beautiful clothing stores I've ever seen. And you know: there are things I might not know much about, but when it comes to clothing, you can rely on my compass. Shopping is also possible in Martina Franca and of course at the beach stall of Coccaro Beach. You can eat well almost everywhere; you can choose blindly, but you'd rather use my secret address list.

On a beautiful summer,
May
