More lip volume but definitely no duckface?
Then this treatment is what you want

Life is indeed beautiful as you get older and you can still look great, but sometimes you need to give nature a little help. Besides wrinkles and skin laxity, the structure of your lips also becomes a bit coarser as you age. Just a little less smooth and also a bit less voluminous.
So when Jessica, who used to be bbeauty editor of ELLE and with whom I often went on beauty trips told me about the lip treatment at Doctors at Soap, my ears perked up. Now I absolutely did not want fillers, because walking around with such a pout is not my ambition. But a little bit of hydration, that I did want. From the lip menu, I chose the lightest treatment, namely the Moisturizing Lips. You can also go a step further by opting for the Lip Lift or the Volumizing Lift, but I find all that really exciting so I chose light.
I found the treating cosmetic doctor a great benchmark, because she looked exactly according to my beauty standard. A great skin, not too much makeup, and everything just so well-groomed that she doesn't need makeup. The ‘Dare to be bare’ principle that Doctors at Soap adheres to. The base is so well cared for that you dare to go out without makeup.
The focus of the treatment I chose is on hydration and that happens by injecting a few very small pricks of hyaluronic acid into your lips. I consulted with Neeltje (the doctor) and chose the smallest dose. More can always be done later. Neeltje applied some pain-relieving cream to my lips so that I didn't really feel the pricks. My lips did turn a bit blue at the injected spots, so if you choose this treatment, I would make sure you don't have any important public performances in the week that follows. Furthermore, I was not allowed to exercise for 24 hours, which I actually adhered to.
The treatment lasts half an hour, costs €250, and remains visible for between six and twelve months.
