New music is coming from Liam Payne

Since the passing of Liam Payne, his music and that of One Direction is being listened to en masse. The songs are back high in the Spotify charts and provide much support to fans. Soon they will be able to listen to a new song by Liam. In the months leading up to his death, he collaborated a lot with American singer-songwriter Sam Pounds. Together they created the duet ‘Do No Wrong’.
A blessing for the world
A day after Liam's passing, Sam shared footage of the time they spent together in the studio. In his message, he wrote that they had made great music that will last forever. Sam hopes that people can find comfort in the song he made with Liam: “I pray that this will be a blessing for the world, as Liam always dreamed. I pray that angels will comfort you all every day while you listen.” He also addresses Liam's family, particularly his son Bear and his sister Ruth, whom Sam also knew well. He hopes that the song will be a blessing for them and overshadow all the negativity surrounding Liam.
Release postponed
Actually, the song was supposed to be released this Friday, but Sam has now decided to postpone the release. On X, he writes a lot about giving the song, but that it is still too early to release it now. He wants to give Liam's family all the peace and space to process their loss. What will happen with the proceeds from the song and whether they will go to a good cause, Sam leaves to Liam's family. He also gives them the freedom to decide when the song will actually be released.
