Proven: morning people are happier than evening people

By
morning people more successful

Do you like to be woken up for, well, the morning? Are you always looking forward to a new day? That's a good sign, because morning people tend to be happier than night owls.

And here's why: their mood aligns better with what is expected of us in the 9-5 world we live in. In the society where we have to fend for ourselves; it is designed for morning people. Getting up early, doing your day, working, exercising, dining out, and then off to bed early. This fits well into the schedule of the most successful people and entrepreneurs, and as a result, you feel better. Those who can participate in society are also often more successful and therefore richer, more prosperous, and more social: all keys to being happy. Night owls who want to wake up in the afternoon and are awake half the night are less productive in the mornings. They cannot function like morning people yet, which often makes them less successful and thus less rich, prosperous, and social. They can undoubtedly have a vibrant career, and this does not apply to every morning or night person, but broadly speaking, there is something to be said for it, yes.

There have been several studies suggesting that morning people are generally more satisfied with their lives and experience a higher level of well-being than night owls. So it's not nonsense, we are not making it up. Don't be disheartened: there is also something to be said for the night owls among us. On the other hand, night owls may have advantages, such as more creativity in the late hours when most people are already in bed. Moreover, night owls can be happier if they can adjust their lifestyle to their preferred rhythm: for example, if they work in hospitality. So you see: if you are a night owl, you can also be very happy, as long as you organize your life well, but if you are incredibly good at getting up early and never snoozing and also going to bed very early... Keep it up.
