By train to the sun? You can reach these popular destinations in just one day

It is becoming increasingly popular: going on vacation by train. And why not? Better for the environment and it saves some scaredy-cats from a flight.
I never really liked taking off. Landing is fine by me, then we’re almost there, but just going up in the air and feeling that in your stomach… Ter-ri-ble. So give me that train instead. And now you might think of destinations like Germany and at most Paris when it comes to trains: well, I have very good news. You can now also move to the sun by train.
Sunny destinations where you can be in one day. From Amsterdam, you can easily travel to places like Barcelona, Nice, Marseille, and Antibes. And there you’ll find beach, warmth, and coziness. Exactly what you want. In that train, you can also move around comfortably, do a bit of work, have a nice lunch – not a punishment at all. The journey itself is already an adventure. With just one stop in Brussels, you can be in Barca in twelve hours from Amsterdam. Isn’t that great?
You can reach the sunny Côte d’Azur just as easily by train. From Amsterdam, you travel to Nice, the most fun seaside resort in the south of La France, in about thirteen hours. Close to Cannes: you can also enjoy that chic boulevard there. Two for the price of one. You can reach Monaco from Nice in just thirty minutes. So actually three for the price of one. How do you book it? There are international trains that run directly from Amsterdam to cities in Southern Europe, such as Paris, Brussels, Cologne, and Frankfurt. From there, you can transfer to trains that go further south, like to Southern France, Spain, or Italy. Of course, you can also ‘wait’ a night in Paris. Your travel companions will be truly happy about that.
Let those airplanes go, just let them take off without you. From now on, you’ll be sitting comfortably on the train to the sun.
