Do you still need to take your vacation days, but do you really have no idea when to do this best? Stop what you're doing and listen up. This year there's again a trick that allows you to have almost two weeks off without actually taking all those vacation days at work. Well, do I need to say more?

The month of May is when you are going to book your vacation, because then it's the time of holidays that take place quite closely together. For example, May 9 starts with Ascension Day, a national holiday for almost everyone, followed by Pentecost the week after, which gives you a free Monday. What a punishment.

Here's a small overview to make it clearer:

May 9: off due to Ascension
May 10: take the first day off, May 11: weekend, May 12: weekend
May 13: take the second day off
May 14: take the third day off
May 15: take the fourth day off
May 16: take the fifth day off
May 17: take the sixth day off
May 18: weekend
May 19: weekend
May 20: off due to Second Pentecost

In total, that's a vacation of no less than 12 days, while you only take a small six days off work this time. So could you use some extra vitamin D? See this as a sign to book your vacation in May ASAP. Ten days Curaçao doesn't sound too bad, I think.
