The B&B cringe moments of this week

Let’s be honest. The main reason we are all watching B&B Vol Liefde is not because we are so curious if true love will be found. That is secondary. No, we want cringe. Those moments when you are almost eating yourself on the couch and want to shout at the TV: ‘STOP YOURSELF, ALBERT!’ Every week is a goldmine of awkwardness. So to enjoy the past week a little, we have compiled the most delightful cringe moments for you.
While Ammarie was completely daydreaming about the 70’s during the camper ride, Thijz was somewhere else with his fantasies. Naked women danced through his thoughts, but it soon became clear that this had nothing to do with his passenger. Because Ammarie is quite bluntly sent away by Thijz upon returning home. His friends are allowed to witness how he breaks a heart, with the words: ‘It’s time for you to find another campsite.’ Okay, man.
Joop has had enough of Anja because she also gives attention to the other man in the house. He was allowed to look at photo albums, and that’s how far things have gotten between Anja and Joop in the few days he has been there! He decides to give Anja a good talking to, then puts his coffee maker back in his little car and leaves with screeching tires.
Annemarie puts herself out of the game from the very first moment and makes it so that no one can really enjoy the Scottish landscape anymore. After a nice and sweet chat with Robert Jan, they both conclude that nothing will come of it between them, so she leaves home with her head held high. But not before Robert Jan has had a good few kisses with her.
Iris has a libido that demands respect. She continuously lets us know that she is in the mood for sex. And then the moment seems to be near. Jan and Iris do a drunken dance, and for a moment you see Jan hesitate to kiss her. Yet he holds back for a moment, which only intensifies the sexual tension between the two. Fortunately, it doesn’t spill over from the screen.
Jacco is already talking about kissing Mirjam right after arriving. Being able to kiss well is, for him, a very important condition for love. To Mirjam’s shock, he asks her just 5 minutes after leaving their safari trip what she thinks of him. It almost seems like she is punishing him by making him sit in his tent all night: without wifi and without outside light. There he is, flipping through magazines in his shirt, ready for a night of sleeplessness out of fear of the approaching lions. It’s his anxious night that makes Mirjam even more put off by him.
Oh well, Albert and Malgosia. I can’t choose which moment it is, it’s all just too awkward and terrible to watch. But if I have to choose something, it’s that moment when she demands an engagement ring worth 1 euro from him. Smart Albert quickly realizes that he needs to let her know that there will be no wedding. Never ever. Perhaps that’s the reason we see in the preview for next week that she leaves a party in a rage. Are we secretly all going to binge-watch on Videoland or are we holding back until Monday to reduce the chance of spoilers for others? I’m still undecided about whether I can hold back.
