R. Kelly's daughter reveals what he did to her as a child

While P. Diddy and R. Kelly wave to each other from behind bars, or perhaps write cheerful songs together about their time in prison while playing outside, more and more horrific facts about them are coming to light here in the outside world. For Diddy, it is a never-ending stream of information at the moment, and it is almost impossible to keep up. Meanwhile, his good friend R. Kelly has been locked up for 5 years now, with another 45 years to go, for sexual offenses, child pornography, and human trafficking. You would think the worst is over, but his daughter has even more horrific things to tell us. In the documentary ‘Karma: A Daughter’s Journey’, we hear even more details about how disturbed her father really is.
He has never been prosecuted for what he did to her
She reveals that her father also abused her. When she was 10 years old, she told this to her mother, after which they went to the police together to file a report. However, because it was ’too long ago’, nothing was done with that report. They could not prosecute him because there was not enough evidence to support the report. Bizarre, right? She is now telling years later that this happened, but not because she hates her father. She says she shares this purely for her own mental health. Of course, R. Kelly himself simply denies these accusations. According to his lawyer, his ex-wife had previously accused him of this, but it was deemed unfounded. Additionally, the documentary makers never contacted R. Kelly's lawyers for the so-called ‘hearing and counter-hearing’.
Hopefully we will also get to see the doc in the Netherlands
For now, we will have to make do with the trailer of the doc in the Netherlands, and of course the stories that come out as a result. Since October 11, it has been available for streaming via TVei, which we cannot receive here. I can hardly imagine that even more of these kinds of disturbed stories about these men will become known. It remains shocking to imagine that all of this was happening while we happily sang along to ‘I believe I can fly’ and ‘I need a girl’. When you listen to these songs again now, those extremely sexually charged lyrics suddenly become frightening to hear.
