The accusation against Jay-Z is full of errors

Since Jay-Z being accused of rape puts him under a magnifying glass. So when he happily appeared on the red carpet of the premiere ‘Mufasa: The Lion King’ with Beyoncé and daughter Blue Ivy, the criticism only got worse. The entire Carter family continues to insist that none of the accusations are true, and there now seems to be evidence for that. The accuser herself now also admits that her story is not entirely accurate.
That fateful evening
In an interview with the American news channel NBC, the woman recounted what she experienced in 2000. That fateful evening, a friend had taken her to Radio City Music Hall in New York to attend the VMAs, her parents knew nothing about it. She didn't have a ticket and watched the show from large screens outside the arena. There, she started talking to various limousine drivers, one of whom worked for Diddy. He told her that she “met what Diddy was looking for” and that he would take her to an afterparty after the show. Once at the party, the woman was drugged and raped by both rappers. She eventually managed to escape and ran to a gas station. There, she called her father who came to pick her up. No words were spoken during the entire ride about what had happened. Even after that, the woman never spoke about what had occurred. But during this ride with her father, the first question marks arose.
Contradictory stories
Her father cannot remember picking up his daughter that day at all. “I think I would remember that, but I don't. I have a lot to do, but I mean, that's something that would definitely stick in my mind.” According to the family's then address, he would also have had to drive five hours to reach his daughter. And this is not the only claim from the woman that turns out to be incorrect. In the same interview, she stated that she spoke with musician Benji Madden and his brother Joel that evening. But both brothers were on tour in the western US at that time and were therefore not present at the VMAs or the afterparty. Also, the location of the party that the woman describes does not match the place where Diddy and Jay-Z were seen. Although it is not entirely known whether the rappers attended multiple parties that evening.
Request for dismissal
The woman admits that she made mistakes, but maintains her accusation of rape. Her lawyer Tony Buzbee stated in a statement that the case came to their office through another source and had already been checked. His team continues to verify her claims, and the woman has even agreed to a lie detector test. Alex Spiro, Jay-Z's lawyer, has since filed a request to dismiss the case. He again harshly criticizes Buzbee. “It is astonishing that a lawyer not only files such a serious complaint without thorough investigation, but also makes matters worse by spreading this false story in the press.” It remains to be seen what all this uncertainty will mean for the case. To be continued...
